tinyUH tries to represent the sound and atmosphere of the hustle and bustle of the beginning of the spice, tea and coffee trade that entered the archipelago during the early days of colonialism, which were marked by the years 1506, 1684, 1696.

These three commodities subconsciously influenced the culture, and economic mentality until now. After 400 years; in 1905 was the starting point for the roof tile industry in Jatiwangi, Majalengka, along with the sugar industry which started a hundred years earlier, until it spread and became the largest producer in Indonesia.

This album is a complementary treat to a complete trade show that we brew together with all the cultural commodities in one package. Enjoy while it's warm.

tinyUH means brew in Sundanese, while there is a small word 'tiny' whose members consist of small entrepreneurs who live in a small city in Indonesia called Majalengka. tinyUH are collective of small entrepreneurs of coffee, tea and spices, as well as terracotta tableware, while playing their brewed compositions solemnly as daily ritual. In addition to playing musical compositions, tinyUH also plays economic activities as part of the show. tinyUH reconstructs the whole atmosphere of taste, visual, aroma, sound, up to the trading process, based on the long history of colonialism in Indonesia that intersects through spices, coffee, tea and clay.
